FAQ

Can I book one or more karts for a specific day and time?

  • Yes. You can now book rides online. Just choose your preferred time and purchase your rides. Please bear in mind! It is always necessary to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance. If you miss a ride, the booking will be lost without refund.

How does the private track rental work?

  • Privately, either a minimum of one hour or one ten-minute ride can be rented for a flat fee of 5000 incl. VAT (for groups of maximum 10 people). Using either option will ensure you can ride on a specific day and time. We will send you a price list for hourly rentals on request. The price of one 10-minute slot is fixed, i.e., if one or a maximum of ten riders ride in this private 10-minutes ride, the price is still 5000 incl. VAT. For both hourly and slot rentals, we require payment in advance.

How does the "availability calendar" work?

  • In the availability calendar you can see the red boxes that indicate the hours when the track is closed to the public for private hire. Always check this calendar before your visit to see if there are any private events taking place. ATTENTION: The calendar is current no more than three days in advance.

Does booking a table in the restaurant automatically mean booking a ride?

  • No, it doesn't. We'll be happy to reserve a table for you so you can sit and relax. But like everyone else, you'll have to buy your rides on the spot and wait your turn. However, you will find a wide selection of homemade lemonades and main dishes in our excellent restaurant, so the wait will be more pleasant ;)

CHILDREN

How old are children allowed to ride alone in a kart?

  • In the Czech Republic, children are allowed to ride alone from about 6 years of age. But it depends on the height of the child rather than the age. A child must be at least 125 cm tall to reach the pedals in a small kart. This height limit then depends on the length of the legs. There's nothing better than to come and try it out for yourself.

Can children and adults ride together in the same ride?

  • No, they can't. Adults and children ride on the same circuit, and every day until 5:00 p.m. we reserve one 10-minute ride for children (all under 15 years of age) and one ride for adults. And so, it goes on and on. From 17:00 onwards, only adults ride.

What is the difference between "child and adult driving" and "child and adult karting"? And what is the price difference?

  • A children's ride is a 10-minute ride reserved for children only (all children under 15 years of age). Children's kart means a smaller kart for children who have not yet reached the pedals in a large kart. Bigger children who are uncomfortable with the smaller kart may ride in the larger kart. If a child is assigned a large kart, it does not mean that they can ride with adults. Children under 15 years of age must ride among children regardless of the size of the kart. All karts have the same power rating. The cost of a child riding in a small or large kart is the same.

Until what age is your child considered a child and thus only must ride in the children's ride with other children?

  • Until 15 years of age.

Up until what time are children allowed to ride with you?

  • We reserve children's rides every day until 17:00pm. After that, only adults ride.

What is a double kart?

  • A double kart is a kart designed for one driver (=parent) and one passenger (=child). This kart is usually used by parents whose child is too young to drive alone or if the child is still afraid.

How many double karts do you have? And can two adults ride in it?

  • We have two double karts.  Double kart is only for parents with a child.

If I'm carrying a child in a double kart, but I'm an adult, can I ride with them in the adult ride?

  • If there is a child in any kart, they must only ride with children for safety reasons. The likelihood of you hurting another child in a double kart with a child is much less than a nervous adult hurting your child in the double kart you are driving.

VOUCHERS FROM SLEVOMAT

ATTENTION: VOUCHERS FROM SLEVOMAT CAN NOT BE EXTENDED. PLEASE TRY TO COME WITHIN THEIR VALIDITY.

I have a voucher from Slevomat. Can I book a ride in a go-kart for a specific time and date?

  • Unfortunately, that's not possible. We can only reserve a table for you in the restaurant, so you have somewhere to sit when you visit us. Otherwise, all you have to do is come, register (if you haven't already), redeem your voucher at the CMK ticket office and then just wait for your turn. However, always check the "availability calendar" here on our website before you visit us. The red boxes indicate the hours when the track is rented out for private use, so you don't get to ride. The calendar is current up to a maximum of seven days in advance. Also be prepared that we are very busy on the weekends and wait times for rides can be 1-2 hours.

When can I use a voucher from Slevomat?

  • All vouchers that include refreshments in our restaurant can be redeemed at any day of the week. Even on weekends. However, weekends are very busy, so please call or email us at provoz@cmkarting.cz  to book a table in the restaurant.

Can I also use the voucher from Slevomat for a ride in a double kart?

  • Yes, you can. But you'll have to pay an extra 50,- CZK for each ride in the double kart.

I'm from far away and I can't use the two-ride voucher from Slevomat except on the weekend. What should I do?

  • If you are unable to come on a weekday but still want to redeem a two-ride voucher from Slevomat, then you can try to come on the weekend, but it will depend on the current availability of the track whether you will be granted access to the track (may not be, these vouchers will not take priority). If so, you will be required to pay an additional fee equal to the regular price of the ride, i.e. 100, - CZK for each ride and 150,-CZK  if you ride in a double kart.

I do not have time to use the voucher from Slevomat during its validity period. What should I do?

  • Try to make it. After the expiration date, unfortunately, we can't do anything about it and your voucher will be lost without refund. Vouchers from Slevomat cannot be extended!

Can I use the voucher from Slevomat for more than one person or do I have to use it myself?

  • The voucher can be used by any number of riders. It is not tied to a person. It is limited only by the number of rides.

GENERAL

Why can't I reach you?

  • In most cases, we're still closed. So, check our opening hours and try to call within them. If no one answers anyway, it means we're all busy. So please be patient and try again in a while. And if you still don't get through, take a look here in the FAQs first, and if you don't find the answer to your question, just drop us a line.

Why has no one replied to my email and what should I do in this case?

  • If you still haven't heard back after 48 hours, it's possible the email has gone astray. So, give us a call and let's see what we can do for you. If 48 hours have not yet passed, we most likely have not gotten to your email yet. So please be patient. Alternatively, take another look here in the FAQs and if you don't find the answer to your question, just give us a call.

What are your opening hours?

  • Check our contacts, please.

How do I know when I can come to you without worrying that you are having a private event?

  • Before each visit, check the "availability calendar" here on the website. But please bear in mind, that the calendar is only up to seven days in advance.

How far in advance is your "availability calendar" up to date and when can I count on no more private rentals "jumping" before my scheduled visit?

  • The availability calendar is always up to date seven days in advance. No further. So, if it's Friday today and you want to come in four days from now, on Tuesday, and you see in the calendar that there's no private event, then there won’t be any. If you're looking at Friday of next week, you'd still better look on Monday, less than seven days before your visit.

Why do I have to wear a balaclava when I rent your helmets?

  • It's for hygiene reasons. There are a lot of sweaty little heads in one helmet every day. If they were all without balaclava, you wouldn't be very comfortable either emotionally (they would be wet) or sensually (they would smell).

Can I bring my own helmet or balaclava?

  • Yes, you can. The helmet must cover the whole head (it cannot be the cycling helmet). The balaclava must also be full head (like a ski mask). Helmet rental is still free of charge.

What do I need to wear?

  • You can ride in whatever you're comfortable with. As long as you wear closed shoes! So, no flip-flops, sandals or heels.

Is it cold/hot/ or do you have gasoline fumes smell in your area?

  • It is very pleasant here in any weather. We are indoor and electric. Therefore, no smell. Dress warmer in the winter. In summer, it does not matter.
